Physical Damage and Business Interruption cover in respect of offshore wind turbine generators (including nacelle / tower / foundation), inter-array cables, subsea export cables, offshore substation, and onshore substation.
Solar PV
Physical Damage and Business Interruption cover in respect of Photovoltaic installations and connecting T&S lines and electric substation.
Concentrated Solar Power
Physical Damage and Business Interruption cover in respect of Concentrated Solar Power facilities (Parabolic Through systems or Power Tower systems) and connecting T&D lines and electric substation.
Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
Physical Damage and Business Interruption cover in respect of BESS systems and connecting T&D lines and electric substation.
Small Hydro / Biomass
Physical Damage and Business Interruption cover in respect of run-of-the-river or storage (dam) hydroelectric systems including connecting T&D lines and electric substation.

Oliver Searles
Head of Underwriting – Energy
Oliver is Head of Underwriting – Energy at The Fidelis Partnership. Oliver joined the business in September 2024. Prior to this, he spent four years at Marsh, initially on the graduate scheme and later as an Assistant Vice President within the Asia Pacific Energy team. Oliver is ACII qualified and holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Durham University.
Natalie Smart
Deputy Head of Underwriting – Energy
Natalie is the Deputy Head of Underwriting – Energy at The Fidelis Partnership, having joined the business in September 2025. Before joining TFP, Natalie spent three years with Aon, initially on the graduate scheme before becoming a broker in the Nordic and Baltic/EMEA team. Natalie holds a BA (Hons) in Politics from Newcastle University.
Daniel Turner
Senior Underwriter
Dan Turner is a Senior Underwriter in the Construction and Energy team at The Fidelis Partnership, having joined in February 2025. Previously, Dan was at Allied World for five years, working in their Construction & Engineering team.
Hannah Webb
Senior Underwriter
Hannah joined Novagen in May 2025. She was previously at NARDAC Insurance Services, where she ran the Underwriting arm of the business, managing binders for SME US Solar PV and Operational Battery Energy Storage. Prior to this, Hannah spent 7 years at AIG, working across Environmental Liability and Renewables, where she worked under Novagen CEO, Valeria Del Villano. She holds a MSc in European Political Economy and a BA in Geography, both from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
